We also provide a comfortable, custom 18’ riverboat for the duration of the trip, along with a knowledgeable guide, Captain Nate Wellman, to ensure you have a great experience. Additionally, we offer tips and instruction tailored to your skill level. Please bring a valid Michigan fishing license, and feel free to bring your own food, drinks, and personal items for the day.
What do I need to bring for my fishing trip?
For your fishing trip with West Michigan Guide Service, be sure to bring a valid Michigan fishing license, which can be purchased online or at local retailers. At West Michigan Guide Service, we welcome anglers of all ages to join our fishing adventures.While there is no specific age requirement for our trips,Michigan law mandates that all individuals aged 17 and older possess a valid Michigan fishing license.Visitors can obtain a 24-hour or 72-hour license at bait and tackle shops, Meijer stores, or purchase one online.For minors under 17, a license is not required.
